Fishnet repair centre inaururated

Tuticorn:Union Minister of State for Home V. Radhika Selvi inaugurating a fishnet repair centre in Tuticorin on Saturday. The Union Minister of State for Home, V. Radhika Selvi, inaugurated community halls, a marriage hall and other infrastructure facilities in villages of Tiruchendur union on Saturday. They were established on an outlay of Rs. 50.5 lakh.

She inaugurated a marriage hall at Nallur (Rs. 12 lakh), community halls at Ammanpuram, Kuranganthattu, West Pallipaththu, Thalavaipuram and Murugankurichi (each costing Rs. 6 lakh), an open auditorium at N. Muthiahpuram (Rs. 4 lakh), two fishnet repair sheds (each costing Rs. 1.5 lakh) and an additional building at Thattaarmadam for differently-abled children (Rs. 1.5 lakh).Speaking at Nallur, Ms. Selvi said that the DMK Government had implemented several welfare measures and fulfilled poll promises.The Collector, R. Palaniyandi, was present.
