Business process outsourcing firm, Allsec Technologies has reported 32 per cent decrease in net profit at Rs 4.57 crore for the quarter ending June 30, compared to Rs 6.77 crore during the same period last year.
The decline in revenue and profitability was mainly on account of appreciating rupee, a release said here today. Gross revenue for the quarter stood at Rs 26.99 crore, compared to Rs 28.75 crore last year, falling six per cent.
The company was setting up a new 200 seater facility at Trichy, which was expected to become operational in the second quarter of 2007-08, it release said.
