Chennai:Social Welfare Minister Poongothai on Saturday launched ‘Project Selvi’, a Rotary Club initiative to provide vocational training for underprivileged girls.Rotary District 3230 governor A.S. Venkatesh said the project would help girls in Chennai and surrounding areas to learn skills such as catering, driving, tailoring, marketing and computer operations.Vinod Saraogi, district chairman, said the girls will receive free spoken English training from VETA.Call 42111000 for details.
