Erode GH will be developed

Erode: Erode Government Headquarters Hospital would be developed with public contribution and the hospital would be made a model one, said the District Collector T. Udhaychandran, on Saturday, when he was visiting the Erode Government Headquarters Hospital.The Collector visited all the wards and gave instructions to the Joint Director of Medicals (in-charge) K. Nagarajan and the Medical Superintendent K.K.A. Hussain Ali.

The Collector told presspersons that a patients' welfare committee had already been formed and it was decided to collect donations from philanthropic persons and use the funds for the Government Headquarters Hospital.He stated that with public contribution, a dialysis unit, a scanner for examining the cardiology cases and a mammogram to test cancer patients, besides some other equipment would be purchased for the hospital.
