The Annual TimesJobs.com Jumbo Job and Professional Education Fair opened as a huge success and saw thousands of Job-seekers walk-in and walk away with over 3,500 Jobs offers on Day 1– on-the spot- from the 100+ companies recruiting at the Jumbo.The Hon’ble Minster of State for Industry, Shri Ashwani Kumar, while inaugurating the TimesJobs.com Jumbo Job Fair said, “I am amazed at how much has been achieved through TimesJobs.com’s fairs, in terms of employment generation.On behalf of the Government, I must also say, that while we are extremely proud of the way the Indian Economy is growing, we have recorded the highest economic growth rate in the history of our nation, but is equally true that we need to translate this growth into jobs and careers for our youth, who have a legitimate expectation of a quality of life that their predecessors, perhaps could not have.”
