A monitoring committee to inspect ongoing works in Tamil Nadu under the direct control of Chief Minister M Karunanidhi will be formed in the state.The committee would visit all the districts to elicit the opinion of people on various ongoing projects and initiate action to expedite the works, besides ensuring quality, an official press release here said today.
It will be headed by T V Somanathan, secretary for planning and development and will have another officer of IAS rank and a District Revenue officer.The Committee would act under the guidance and instructions of the Chief Minister, the release added.
