Nagercoil: The World Anti-Tobacco Day was observed by Athencottasan Muthamizh Kazhagam (AMK), a non-governmental organisation, at Nadvoorkarai near Mandaikadu on Thursday.The organisation conducted an awareness campaign in which members of self-help groups from Koziporvilai in Thuckalay block participated.People undergoing rehabilitation at de-addiction centres at Nadvoorkarai and Nagercoil were explained about the ill effects of tobacco.
