Tiruchi: The Tamil Nadu Cooperative Officers Association of Tamil Nadu Cooperative Service has welcomed Chief Minister M.Karunanidhi's announcement that government servants would not be suspended on the eve of their retirement.The general body meeting of the association held here on Saturday adopted a resolution expressing its gratitude to the Chief Minister.It also welcomed the issue of a government order giving promotions to deputy, joint and additional registrars.The meeting nominated R.Dhayalan as the association Joint Secretary, T.Ramanidevi as Treasurer and A.Ganapathy and K.Kalyani as Executive Committee members.
