Vellore:The District Disabled Rehabilitation Centre here has invited applications from physically challenged persons in the district and those, who served them, for receiving the national and state awards.An official release said in a release that 25 national awards under the categories of “Best Employee” and “Best Self-Employed” would be given to the visually challenged, speech impaired, orthopaedically challenged, leprosy-cured and mentally challenged employees in Government departments, public and private organisations.For details, eligible individuals and organisations could contact the District Disabled Rehabilitation Officer, Disttrict Diability Centre, District Panchayat Office Complex. Perumalsamy Building, Officers’ Line, Vellore-632001 before June 30.
