Taley tied up with UK firm

Chennai: Tally Software, the accounting software major, has tied up with UK-based International Institute of Certified Bookkeepers.CEO of Education and Training Wing of Tally Avinash Gupta, who was in Chennai on Friday to interact with the company’s partners, said students who had completed the “Tally certification” programme will be able to transfer their credits for higher studies in UK. The Institute of Bookkeepers recognised the Tally programme as a “Level 5” certification.

Students can appear for the “Tally Financial Accounting Certification” test at any of Tally’s centres. The 90-minute online test will include multiple-choice questions. The examination fee is Rs.1,350.Tally has over 90 per cent market share of all accounting software in India and also has a strong presence across the globe.He said the company identified training as a separate strategic business unit in 2004.The company currently has 1,100 training centres and tie-ups with 800 colleges.
